Garden ponds
Garden ponds bring tranquility into a garden space. They are a great location for fish, frogs and other water based wildlife. Ponds also offer an ideal home for various species of plants.
Fish do not automatically find homes in garden ponds. Pond owners need to stock each garden pond with fish. Most people choose fish that are at home in a pond. One of the most popular types of fish for a garden pond is the koi fish.
Plants and flowers also make homes in and around garden ponds. Most plants are introduced by a gardener. However, some plants naturally find a home on the shores of a small pond.
